Enfield marked Waide Construction's debut in residential development after establishing their reputation in commercial building. This 40-apartment development positioned directly opposite the anticipated City Rail Link transport hub required a brand strategy that would differentiate it in Mount Eden's competitive affordable housing market.
Our challenge was communicating the development's unique value proposition — city-fringe convenience at accessible pricing — to both owner-occupiers and investors seeking well-connected rental properties. The brief demanded a brand that captured the energy and connectivity of the location without appearing generic.
We developed the positioning "Get Connected," capitalising on Enfield's exceptional transport links while appealing to a youthful, trend-conscious audience. The strategy embraced the urban-suburban blend of the locale, positioning the development as finger-on-the-pulse yet economical.
The visual identity featured an unconventional colour palette inspired by contemporary street culture, paired with dynamic typography that evoked movement and connectivity. This approach differentiated Enfield from traditional property marketing while reinforcing its transport-focused positioning.
The brand successfully positioned Enfield as an honest, accessible choice for buyers valuing convenience and connectivity in Auckland's evolving city-fringe landscape.
