Auranga Residential Estates operates as the official real estate partner within Auranga, a masterplanned community in Drury, Auckland built on four pillars: Economy, Sociology, Ecology, and Anthropology. The challenge was creating a brand that would align with Auranga's philosophical foundations while fundamentally redefining thereal estate experience from transactional to transformational.
Our brief centred on reframing the typical transactional real estate experience by prioritising people overprofit. Rather than selling properties, ARE needed to become the gateway to community membership, serving as guide, concierge, caretaker, and storyteller for Auranga.
We developed the positioning "We are Auranga. We are Community," establishing ARE as guide, concierge, and storyteller for this extraordinary development. The strategy emphasised values-based service that transforms property buying into community joining — positioning ARE as the living example of industry transformation.
The visual identity features bold, unorthodox colours and geometric patterns representing each pillar, creating a disruptive presence in the corporate real estate landscape. The design system includes multiple logo variations and adaptive patterns that convey familiarity and humility while reflecting community diversity.
The Auranga Centre embodies this philosophy — a 20-foot container in Village Square serving as headquarters, display suite, and symbol. Each design element represents a pillar, from the pill-shaped table to the coastal toetoe plantings.
ARE successfully redefined real estate agency relationships, establishing a community-first model that positions Auranga as the future of city-building.
